The measure of a life~

If the measure of a pet's life is how much happiness they brought.
This was one mighty big dog!
This is Lily... Bill's 'step-dog'. He was her daddy while Connie was in Germany, after that they shared joint custody.

Lily~ you will be missed.

Sandi, this dog looks so much like my dog Scooter. His pic is on my sidebar. I'm assuming Lily has passed away. I never knew how much an animal could add to your life until we got Scooter. He is 13 now, and such a family member, I don't know how we'll ever do without him. I am sorry for your sadness...may sweet memories comfort you.

Sandi and Bill, I love this picture. You know you are in our thoughts, dear friends. Lily was a lucky dog to have been so loved, so well, by so many....I'm sure she knew this and relished that happiness.

The loss of a pet is never easy but the joy they brought throughout the life far out measures the grief.

Oh Sandi... I am so sorry for your loss! You all will be in our thoughts... I know how difficult it is to lose a loving family member, two and four legged.

God bless and comfort you in your grief over Lily's passing. But remember, God needs good dogs in Heaven too. She'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you and all the people who love her.

Sandi and Bill,
I never knew a dog could mean so much to me until Sydney the Wonder Dog came into my life. NOW I'm a believer. Knowing the joy of loving him, I feel so sorry for your loss of Lily. I know it's so painful and sad to lose a beloved member of the family...and that's what some of these dogs are, aren't they?
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Kari
